Re: Ultra high-level dungeon with alternate ending
Ah, okay, thanks! But to be honest I cannot think of any puzzle that needs a certain combination of skills (or mastership of a single skill) to be solved. I mean, traps can be disarmed or simply endured (well, except for the disease transmitting ones) doorlocks can be picked or bashed... maybe the d...

Re: Ultra high-level dungeon with alternate ending
Sounds nice to me and I am already curious how it will look like. :) However, I am not sure if I understood you right concerning savegames, character level and some other things: - I do not have to start a new game but can load a savegame from before the mod´s installation in order to play? - I have...

Re: Eschalon: Book II music themes
You are absolutely right, a complete soundtrack of all three parts of the Eschalon Books would be great! I am nearly done with my "play all Eschalon Books as a mage for once" challenge (not a real challenge, though :) ) and the music played at Grimmhold made me think again of this topic. S...

Ah, that is good to know! Makes it a lot more comfortable to update your game. In order to avoid any problems with deleted emails I keep my registration code printed, to be on the safe side.

First time finished as a mage
Like the subject says, I finished the game today for the first time playing as a mage. In all the computer games I play (or have played so far) I tend to prefer a warrior or paladin, which means that magic is just something I use to heal my character or improve him now or then for a short period of ...

Re: Reg number
Today I downloaded the latest version (1.021) but no purchased code was asked for when I started the download, installed the game (in the same directory) or launched it. So maybe there is some kind of check-up whether you entered a code before or not if you install over a previous installation?

Re: ESCHALON TRILOGY - Q&A (SPOILERS)
Cut you put that in the right way for me, please? I am afraid I have no memories of being warned about an imminent sudden death... :| The warning is this: You clearly see three pressure plates in this room with a closed gate at the other side. Your instincts tell you this room is trapped and that y...

Re: Atrox Deep
If I recall correctly, you have to blow up one gate from the other side before getting thrown into the basilisk´s lair in order to escape.

Re: ESCHALON TRILOGY - Q&A (SPOILERS)
You have a sense that passing through these gates may be a one way trip, and there will be no turning back from here. Are you sure you're ready?... Very good idea... Especially since you get such a warning in areas that "just" kill you, like the trapped room in the Castle Dungeon. Cut you...

Outbox / Sent message
I am not sure if I made a mistake, but I am pretty sure I clicked on "submit" when I finished my private message and wanted it to be delivered. Anyways, the message I want to be sent still lingers in the "Outbox" folder and it does not seem to make any efforts to travel to the &q...

Re: Forum Inactivity
Only 17 days to go for Book III and the forums are still quiet. :( Perhaps people are confused about how to register for these forums? To be honest, I had some difficulties registering to this forum because I did not read the instructions very carefully (i.e.: not at all). So when the confirmation ...

Re: Blocked pass NE of Rockhammer
Well, it definitely works with only two kegs, I just checked it out again. Two things are to be kept in mind, though: you need to take the "southern" path into the rocks (not the middle way) and the second keg should be a fused one because there is no possibility to set it up without hurti...

Re: Blocked pass NE of Rockhammer
Nice, I did not think of simply blowing up the blocked way. So it is pretty easy to go to Macross Point, all you need is two kegs of powder!
