Re: Book III Character and Map Editor
I thought I'd have a crack this evening at compiling the editors from the latest course code and noticed something, the editor (for me at least) has always looked like this: Built.JPG After getting python and all the necessary extras setup on my windows machine I tried running it directly from the s...

Re: Eschalon: Book III MODS: Text Files
BW, any chance you provide a bit of an explanation as to the layout of these files and how one block of text is linked to the next? Would be very useful when looking to create new NPC's down the line.

Re: Custom graphics/tiles?
It's not possible yet at the moment you can only do custom maps with existing graphics, however it is something that is on the agenda for a future release.

Sound like a logical and tidy way of doing things to me, I don't suppose these mod names are a hint at things your working on?

Re: Omentor Temple: Stuck at the entrance
I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m missing something, and probably something quite obvious because no one else has written in with this problem. Please help. I will be hanging out at Macross Point eating chowder until a falcon arrives with a note to enlighten me. Nope your not missing anyt...

Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.02
Hm, has anyone gotten this to work, btw? I've been trying to get a simple 4952.map to load but I'm getting the "your fate lies elsewhere" message, no matter where I've tried placing the map. Nope it didn't work for me either, although I only tried with a modded version of an existing map ...

Re: Eschalon: Book III Version 1.02
VERSION 1.01 CHANGES [Fixed] A couple badly placed swicthes causing problems when people used powder kegs / Minor map adjustments Unfortunately the changes you have made to the temple map do not remove the ability to complete it with only 2 widgets. You can still pop a keg under portcullis marked g...

I believe it involves this section of the map and a powder keg under the portcullis nearest the lever.

Re: Book III Mod: The Mystery of Rockhammer Mine
Just finished having a good explore of your mod and I must say, I'm liking the areas very much, I think if / when the ability to create new quests arrives these areas would have excellent potential. Only a few minor things found: 1) The table with the widget and those in the Golem chamber were not s...

Re: Windows 8 Tablet Computer
It should on tablets running standard Windows 8 just fine, although not being designed with touch screen in mind I've no idea how the controls would feel. However a quick Google says that the Surface tablets run Windows 8 RT which I believe means they are are not standard x86 architecture and can on...
