Re: Might and Magic: Is it back?
Details about the combat system HEY EVERYONE, Some time ago on the Ubisoft MMX forum, MagixJonsn asked whether there "will be static idiot enemies in the game?". Although we cannot reveal too much today about the intellectual status of monsters in MMX, we can say for sure they're not stat...

Re: New rank
Awesome idea. Let's hope that this stays a VERY exclusive rank.

Re: RIP Dragonlady
This is really sad. I knew she was in poor health, but I always hoped she had a lot longer left. My condolences. She will be sorely missed here, though, I'm sure, not nearly as much as she will be missed my her family.

Re: Jade Empire
So, been playing Jade Empire for almost the entire day (yes, I FINALLY got it... off GOG)... I just can't stop. Seriously, I'd say this game is in close contention with Mask of the Betrayer for best-written BioWare game I've played — maybe the best. (Yes, I said BioWare, so no attacking me on the g...

Re: Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
I think people can get carried away with class changing in both W6 and W7 . There's a tradeoff to class changing, and it's generally beneficial to a point, but becomes counterproductive eventually. The main goal, in my mind, is to pick up good spellcasting skills somewhere along the way, then settle...

Re: Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
Yeah, the GOG version comes bundles with dosbox.noname wrote:Yeah, MURDER is right! That's what I mostly remember. You must be using dosbox or something. I couldn't even play Wiz 8 anymore after upgrading to Win XP.

Re: Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
I went ahead and pulled the trigger on 6 & 7, I'll get 8 when it goes on sale. I won't be finishing 6 & 7 any time soon anyway, due to the aforementioned length of the games. First up, I'm going to read up on some guides to the games. I'm not looking for a walkthrough, just some character cr...

Re: Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
They're definitely very lengthy and very difficult games. I doubt kids these days (oh boy, I sound like a grandparent) would have the patience and nerve to complete one of these games. Between the 3 games it will probably take some 400 hours to complete the trilogy... and that's a rather optimistic ...

Re: Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
Oops, I meant to write 6-8, not 5-7. Corrected OP. I can't compare it to Legacy since I haven't played it. There is some similarity to the early Might & Magic games, when they were still turn-based, though I always found the Wizardry games to be far more in depth and hardcore. Might & Magic ...

Dark Savant Trilogy arrives on GOG
Prepare your arses for a propper whooping, the very epitome 'brutally difficult' is now on GOG so we can punish ourselves yet again. Of course, I'm speaking of Wizardry 6-8 , better known as the Dark Savant Trilogy . People these days laud Dark Souls for being brutally difficult, that game has got n...

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that this isn't a day spa. http://i.imgur.com/7gRFjEAl.jpg I dig the mood lighting, but the furniture could use a bit of work. Hmm, do they have a Cairn Extreme Makeover Home Edition? http://i.imgur.com/fSCGXfJl.jpg Lookie what I found! Unfortunately ...

Re: Grim Dawn, from the makers of Titan Quest
The color code of RPG items: white: average green: better blue: even better purple/red/orange/gold: even even better (red/orange/gold: ultimate) In Grim Dawn , to the best of my knowledge (the first 4 are from actual in-game experience): White - mundane/common Yellow - uncommon Green - rare Blue - ...

Re: Grim Dawn, from the makers of Titan Quest
/rub rub rub Keyrockette at level 17: That bolt action rifle was my first green drop (rare) and it's really badass. I also got an even better (blue - unique) drop, but it's a melee weapon. That's what the shared stash is for. http://i.imgur.com/HK44Xqql.jpg Here are my Demolitionist skills. The skil...
