so really the main sneak attack is a bow use to stay hidden
up close sneak attacks are not plausible?

Re: How does it compare to Book 1?
thanks for all the replies... been playing it for a few days now. I sat on my rolling for half a day as per usual in my ocd way and got 107 pts. yes playing a rogue is quite insane and I am playing hard core rules. however the overall game is much improved with story graphics random items and overal...

Re: How does it compare to Book 1?
thanks...
I am totally looking forward to diving into it after playing through book 1 and maxxing my level twice in it.
going to go full rogue stealth in book 2 for my first playthrough.
I am hoping move silent and hide in shadows is more balanced and usable in book 2.

Re: Raver Dave's Book I Mod
yes same place it was right by the lever and it only did it twice then my next load it did not do it again. the first time it did it happened when I used the first guards letter on the island and clicked ok. the second time I had used the cryptic note 2 times and then was standing by the levers and ...

How does it compare to Book 1?
I just completed my third run through of Book 1 including the 2 additional mods by Jedi and Raver. I am curious about a few things before I dive into Book 2. What skills can I learn from trainers? Are the same stat formulas used in Book 2 as Book 1? Are the same dmg formulas used in Book 2 as Book 1...

Re: Raver Dave's Book I Mod
yah what I did is used all of thaermore revisted excluding the 2 maps that both conflicted and used yours where it conflicted. basically the storehouse in aridell and the cave in barren region are the conflicts. so I just did the base game no mods then put all the maps from thaermore revisited into ...

one question besides the obvious conflict of aridell is thaermore revisited compatible with this mod?

What is the best Heavy Armor in the game?
Just curious.
Right now I have a steel plate breastplate and splint mail greaves and steel plated boots as well as iron gantlets of the warlord.
Is a full set of mithril possible?
And is there other really rare heavy armors?

random encounters while camping ??
Is there a max amount of times I can rest to get random battles?
I have been consistently getting a message about being startled awake but there is nothing around. I am getting this message after hours in the same location camping.
so is there a check or cap on random encounters?
thanks

Re: Bought game from BMT micro stutters?
thanks for the resend of the download... of course I figured out what I was doing and that was dragging my mouse over the map and other non interactive move areas so it seemed like I kept getting stutters when in fact I was not used to keeping my motion of mouse tighter. However I still get in the r...

Bought game from BMT micro stutters?
I have version 1.06 from BMT micro.
It goes through cycles of lagging when walking a few grid squares.
My PC is way beyond min specs.
Is this a windows 7 issue or something else?
