Re: The mystery....
If it's not the goblins, then that leaves three obvious creatures we have seen before. My first thought was the Barrea mercenaries and my second was the giants. Although, the Taurax are also a possibility - but do they really need to be redesigned to be made more difficult? Also, we could go on down...

Re: Mapping Eschalon [Minor spoiler]
I have one small question. How in the world did you get into the area at the top of the map called "Barrier Range?" I have bumped around Vela, the Baron's Thicket and Bordertown, and I cannot find any opening to that map. Admittedly it does not actually affect the game play, but I would lo...

Re: Alchemy Skill Table
What a helpful post. Nice research job..... Your table brought up something that I've been thinking about lately re: alchemy in general. I've noticed that most people feel Level 15 is optimal, and the sooner the better. Somehow I've just never felt the need to invest that high a percentage of my lim...

Re: The Collected History of Thaermore - Timeline (SPOILERS...)
Why is it I think something about the Bright Light in the west about the year 300 will be of interest in Book 2? The suspense is just killing me!

Re: Developers Notes: Eschalon World Map
We are trying soooooo hard to be really patient. But, way deep down we can hardly stand the wait for Book 2. We also really love these updates from you because we know you are building another wonderful game for us to play.

Re: Re-roll time for me
I think it's interesting how people use different skills sets in playing the game. For instance, my latest character relies mainly on his sword and and uses Fire Dart for ranged attacks. I have pumped up Hide in Shadows, which has saved him a lot of pain. Anyway, I pretty much rely on Cat's Eye and ...

Re: The Collected History of Thaermore - Timeline (SPOILERS...)
Very cool to have all of these events in one time-line. This will probably be very helpful when we start Book 2. Thanks so much for doing.........

Re: What type of engine for Book II
Oh no! The thing I love most about Book 1 is that it is single player and turn based. I personally don't see what the advantage would be in changing the feel of the game. Have you had any feedback requesting such a change? I think it would become a completely different beast if you made that alterat...

The poll to pick a side-quest in Aridell sounds like fun. And, those of us who are addicted to the Eschalon universe also think your writing is terrific. Makes the whole thing feel much more real. Keep up the good work!
