Re: Tiny bug on character creation? --> Skill raising
As far as I remember, it was possible in book 1 too. You can't put more than 5 points into a skill, so if it starts at 1, maximum is 5.
I thought it a feature, not a bug

Re: Autosave on arriving on new map
Well, I know about saving often, but I get easily caught up in Eschalon Book.
So after an hour of play, well, I die, and realize I did not save my game even once.
Is it my fault BasiliskGames made such an awesome game so that I forget to save ?

Linux version should be out on May 26 (so in a few days).
Some already made the windows version run with Cedega or wine.

Re: Skill System Feedback: Books and Trainers
I like the skill system as it is too.
It is possible to make a swordsman with 1 in swords and wait for the trainer, but it is possible with any skill.
And well, going through the game till the trainer with 1 in swords (without magic) would be impressive enough (running isn't playing :p).

Autosave on arriving on new map
I'm the kind of player who always forget to save (lost my first character that way).
Would an autosave be possible ?

Re: Rogue stats - plz help
What I'm trying right now is a character with 15 in each stat.
Whatever the class.
Seems to run fine for a rogue with Divine magic.

Town guards have incredible sight and hearing :D
Well, at least they can spot me trying to open a door during a storm, as easily as during the day.
(And I can use picklocks as easily during a storm as during a sunny day)

You can do that very easily, attack, be attacked, look at the percentages.

Nope, it's just that you "win" a step every some steps, so one-by-one it takes time for you to see it

Demon oil.
It took me 5 or 6 flask, waiting for the effect to wear off before lauching another one (not sure if damage adds up if you lauch one each turn).
