Re: Baldur's Gate and DnD
I'd love to find me a DnD 2nd edition group to play with. Unfortunately noone I know around here plays. I mean, I live in a large city, I am sure they exist, but how I can find them is beyond me. I've tried messaging several people from various "meet up" sites I've found regarding this, b...

Re: Is the new SimCity worth buying?
It's not just the game is bad, either. It's the way EA has handled it. They claimed that the game was 'designed' around online play, and couldn't have an offline mode without radical redesigns. Then some modders got a hold of it, and learned not only was it possible to play the game-offline, but the...

Re: Baldur's Gate and DnD
I've been running 2E games for the past decade and a half, so lucky for me, I never had to figure out the mechanics of Baldur's Gate. (Well, except for all the rules they changed from the actual game, that is.)

Re: video game buys may bring $$$$
Huh, I actually own the black label copy of Final Fantasy VII. Good to know, I guess, if I've ever thrown into debt.
(Too bad my copy of Final Fantasy VIII isn't worth anything. I'd sell that piece of crap in a second! )

Re: Project Eternity
Man, now I'm starting to worry if maybe my computer can even handle such a pretty game? I was going to upgrade my video card for my birthday, but then my harddrive failed and I spent all of my money replacing that, instead!

I think you made a good choice.
(I still have a copy of SimCity 3000 that I still enjoy to this day, now and again, personally.)

Re: Is the new SimCity worth buying?
From everything I've heard, the new SimCity has less features and less depth than the previous incarnation. The only thing the new SimCity has to offer that is new is the ability to purchase resources (electricity, etc.) from other cities online. I'd recommend you be patient and wait for the price t...

Re: The New Book III Screenshots
These screenshots are really getting me revved up for Book III. I can't wait for it to come out. I really need to clean out some of my backlog before then.

Re: Wrath of the Announcement Date
Honestly, I have such a huge backlog of old games to get through anyway, I don't mind waiting for Book III.
Actually, at the rate I'm going, I'll be lucky to have finished my backlog before Project Eternity is released!

Re: Project Eternity
I've been thinking about dropping some money on this, but I'm waiting to here something more concrete about what kind of DRM will be on it, if any.

Yes, unfortunately it will also have paid DLC, as well.

Re: Baldur's Gate
It was my understanding the remake was still using the Infinity Engine, it was just going to have a few tweaks to it.

Re: Fallout 1 FREE at GOG.com for the next 48 hours!
No strings attached. Even if you own the disc, like I do, you might as well add this to your GOG collection as a backup copy. 8) Not only that, but it comes with a bunch of goodies, too--including avatars, wallpapers, a manual--and the 205 page Fallout Bible! I already have a hard copy, but I snagg...

I've never even played the first one. It's not at GOG.com. Anyone have any idea where I might find it?

They did all of that in one week? Couldn't they have...you know, released the game a week later then?
