Re: Class feats!!!
While i'm for the idea, i don't see why we'd remove alignment feats. More tweaking ftw! Well, your alignment is baked into your job description. A druidic rogue becomes a shadowlark, a virtuous rogue becomes a rebel and a malicious rogue becomes an assasin, so teh druidic rogue would get some shado...

Re: Anyone have any problem with...
BOOK III CHANGES: *Skill Feats begin at Skill level 15 instead of Skill level 10. Yes please, punish us more for wanting diversification. This is such a good idea especially since you only have only one character throughout the game so the reward for crawling into the furtherst reach of the hidden ...

Class feats!!!
Hello!!! Is the suggestion box still open??? Because I have a suggestion; each class, such as warlock, priest, assasin, ranger etc should have a unique feat, that can be used once per (210/3 x level)+1 turns or so. By level, I mean that you can not spend in this "skill", it automatically i...

Re: Body of Evidence
That the player can get diarrhea from eating bad food to make the game more realistic? One of the thing Eschalon does right, in my opionon, is all of the exotic diseases you can contract. So why not? Anyways, your job description can be "Necromancer", and there is a "Necromancers hat...

Re: Alien Nation
Its called a plot twist, philistine, and is actually incredibly underused in modern dumbed down storytelling.
Also, nice way of spoiling the end of Book II IN THE TITLE!!! (In case someone here has yet to beat it)

Re: Get unlimited gold
How about rebalancing demon oil instead? The initial damage if you hit should be big - since if you are hit you will be covered in burning ignition fuel - but the burning damage should be lower. Also, the intelligent creatures should not be afraid of the fire (or the extremely dumb, like zombies) to...

Re: Get unlimited gold
It has been noted that you can do this with stackable items, yes. I don't know what BW will do in terms of fixing it for Book III. It's a pretty minor bug, as things go. Aww. And here I was thinking I was smart :( This is fixed in Book 3. Only items that are 100% identical can be combined, so that ...

Get unlimited gold
Hi all, I dunno if anyone have noticed this before and I am to lazy to search the forums, but here it goes; Buy rocks. Right click and move to alchemy maker. Imbue with three different whatever. Put the rock back in inventory. IMPORTANT!!! Do not pool rock with the other rocks, or it will lose encha...

Re: Games Like Eschalon?
You should try Realmz. It was the main competition to Exile and Ultima (the latter I hated because it was way to textbased) for all Mac-users. It does exist on PC too and is fixed to work on modern systems. I have a 2 ghz windows 7, and it works. The only problem is, all scenarios except the first o...

Re: Warlock build
I know my post was a bit tl:dr, but I just wanted to point out that I already discussed your concerns about dehex and weapon skills. You run out of mana very quickly. In early and midgame, you will actually do roughly half your dmg with weapons and half with magic. Yes, in lategame you do not have s...

First off, I always roll a million times to get high stats. Compare the difference between the theoretically lowest and the theoretically highest stats; 14 x 8 - 7 x 8 = 7 x 8 = 56. 56/3 = 18 + 2/3, meaning that yeah, basically, there is a 20 levels in stat points difference between the highest and ...
