I haven't played this yet. But, I've heard good things about it.
If you're going to buy this, GOG has it on sale for $11.99 for the mac during their end of year sale. Plus a few other games for the mac also.
Have a very merry Christmas and New Years.

Re: Games similar to Eschalon? (with some picky requirements
I recommend that you look at the games over at www.gog.com for a variety of role-playing games. I like the Ultimas and Might & Magic games for role-playing. Some folks really like the Balder's Gate and Ice Wind Dale games. Also, there are some adventure and action games that might fit your needs...

Re: Need to Change DirX to Open GL
To answer your question. When you first launch the game, you have a screen that shows the launch menu. Just below the Renderer area you should see one of three things. DirectX 7, DirectX 9, or Open GL. Just clicking on this area will change what Renderer option you will use in the game. Hope this he...

Thanks for the games CB. I really appreciate the effort you put into this fun way of giving them away.

Hey BW, I think you really should keep this post for posterity. I mean, now you can say that your forum has been infected by a trojan.
I really enjoyed the step-by-step instructions on how to build a trojan horse.

Re: Intel Graphics
Just a thought, but you might go to the Intel web site and see if there are new drivers for your motherboard/graphics. HP doesn't always have the newest ones for download I've found. That's the only thing I can think of to help you. Good luck.

Nononono, see, you guys aren't seeing the big picture. The Lost & Found is run by that most horrid of creatures -- the bureaucrat. King of his own little pond. (And the only completely unkillable monster in the game.) Before he'll even TALK to you, you'll be required to pay a fee, then fill out...

Re: Quick Poll - DVD or CD?
A couple of questions. Since you're putting all three versions on the DVD, are you shipping the DVD after the May 26th release date for the Mac and Linux versions? Also, is there a finite amount of DVD disks being produced? I'm asking because I'm going to be out of town on the 12th and won't be able...

Re: A few titles on sale on Impulse
Atari.com is having a 50% off sale right now on all of their games, I believe. I just recently picked up The Witcher Enhanced game for $9.99 plus $6.81 shipping. I went this way for the additional game guide. :) Plus I like to have the disk on hand just in case the hosting company goes away forever.
