Re: Age of Decadence
I've spent quite a bit of time on it, very fun. [...] Reminds me of the old Fallout (1+2) series, from a gameplay point of view. The character screen and the world interaction buttons (left hand, right hand / action points etc.) are very familiar. However, the Roman element does not fit into this p...

Very nice work indeed. Now I know what the Ghost Isle looks like.

Re: Wanted Mods List
Most of the time my underdeveloped foraging skill gifted me with bitterseeds and cabbages, from time to time I was even able to find some water (should not be too hard when camping riverside, even without the foraging skill, though). But more than a decrease of the thirst bar never seemed to happen,...

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)
Maybe there already is a limit. The highest amount of money I have ever possessed was ca. 24k gold, so I cannot say if Lucky keeps up indefinitely. I personally would prefer that he has a limit which should not exceed 2000 gold, though. More than that would give me the feeling that I am the one who ...

Re: hostile townspeople (Minor Spoiler, Maybe)
I too beat lucky one game and tried the charm III potion I'd picked up. he was too strong and it didn't affect him. I was really hoping it would work on him, since it would let you keep gambling with him ad infinitum. A little off topic, but: I was wondering why Lucky has enough money to keep up wi...

I once blew up myself with a powder keg. I intended to look into a certain direction by holding SHIFT+cursor but unfortunately I overlooked the keg and SHIFT-klicked it...

Re: Archery Range, Western Astral Range
Damn... I was playing as True Mage, so no goodies for Marcus, I'm afraid. The "True-Mage-Challenge" will not be failed if you use a bow on the target - I do not know if this is a bug (because you did strike an object with a physical weapon) or if it is just this way to ensure that you can...

You could buy, loot or create food (the latter with the corresponding spell only).kelticpete wrote:ah, sorry, shroom, my facts were wrong. i stand corrected. how did you get food in 2?

Re: Mage vs. Fighter
This makes me think of a potentially awesome mod where you get the opportunity to fight a really well developed enemy of the other class (basically like the flipside of whatever your build is). Sounds nice and might be a pretty good challenge as well! I was thinking about how entertaining it could ...

Re: Mage vs. Fighter
My problem is that I always tend to make fairly generalist characters who can turn their hands to more than one style - ie throw a few spells but still do a bit of damage with a sword and open a few locks, etc. Inevitably that "Jack of all trades, but Master of none" approach means that I...

Mage vs. Fighter
After having finished EB: III the first time as a fighter, I now am halfway through as a mage. It is the first time that I play as a mage (in all the EB parts) and I have to say it is really fun! And in my opinion, it is much more easier than playing a melee character. At the beginning I was kind of...

Re: Divine magic much more useful than Elemental?
That is right, Elemental magic is more "aggressive" and focused on destructive purposes (Draw water may be an exception). Spark for example is quite useful at level 6 and if it is raining, it is even more fun.
