I have the Macgamestore version too, and it would seem the packaging, as you call it, will prevent my attempts to change the sounds in the .wav files. I had read on the forum that somebody had done this for fun, and I had rather hoped to get rid of at least one noise that really bugs me. Is there a work-around for this issue? I mean, a way to access those sounds on Macgamestore's version? If not, would it be possible for me to somehow trade in (delete) my current version in exchange for a "real" version of the game?
I suppose that in the future, if I look for games at Macgamestore, I'll do just that: just look. Then I'll try to find where the game originates and buy it there. Seems to me that I had a problem once before with a game and I couldn't even find the folder where the file was supposed to be to fix the issue. I'd bet it was bought from this same site.
Is there something that we game buyers can do to get these guys from screwing up your "packaging"? I mean, in addition to not buying there any more, do you have contact info for somebody I can email with a complaint?
