Save File Location -- Pissed off Alchemist

So, I managed to piss off the alchemist in Bordertown.. didn't even notice he was trying to kill me until after I saved. So, I found that the charm spell might be worth a shot, and that someone else had fixed it with a trainer and a quick on/off. So my problem comes to this.. I can't find this freaking spell (at least not this far in the game), I'm a mage, and need that alchemist.. and I'm on a Mac, so the trainer doesn't work.

My plan was to port my game save files into a new installation on Windows, but alas! I can't locate the save files on my Mac. Any pointers?

Thanks.

In your /Documents folder, you'll find an /Eschalon Book 1 Saved Games folder.

I do assume that this means that the files will work cross platform..?

Thanks.

Yes, saved games should work across different platforms.

Have you checked if that alchemist will sell it to you? If he won't sell you things while he's hostile, you could try casting a charm spell on him...

No he won't sell to me..

The whole point of this is trying to get the charm spell. I'm at a point in the game where I can't really get it right now, and I'm on a Mac so the trainer won't work (if it even works at all). Not to mention from what I understand, the Charm spell is kind of hard to find.

Yes, I fear it was but an, apparently feckless, attempt at levity. I'm British, it's what we do. Well, or fail to, as the case may be.

Perhaps I should just save everyone a lot of effort and put " " in my signature.
