Although Command-Q is listed as a keyboard shortcut for the Eschalon program, it doesn't actually shut it down. It actually doesn't do anything. Also when I choose "Quit" manually from the menu, nothing happens. It would be great to have this actually work in case of having to quit the game urgently.

We are looking into it for Book II. We support very few system-specific calls in the game (this is a because of the cross-platform language we use- to maintain compatibility they don't handle very many platform-independent system calls.)
