I like this idea very much. You could even purchase different camping sets from the merchants.
The first may be some sort of sleeping bag, then a tent, a tent with fire etc...
Each one with greater capabilities than the other, for example the tent heals you faster than the sleeping bag, the fire might scare off little monsters on random encounters and so on.

Funny, originally I think it was Basilisks plan to have food for camping.

I kept hoping for a camping improvement, a bigger tent or something... I'd like to see something along those lines for sure.
