Staircase to Thieves doesn't work.

Does any one know why the staircase (yes I completed the treasure chest puzzle in the Kuudad Sewers to open the staircase) to the Thieves' Arcadia won't work? When I travel on it the game freezes every time - I tried to search but I can't find an answer.

Which version of the game are you using and where did you get it?
I never had that problem so the flaw might be in the version or a corrupted file.

If you post a saved game here, we should be able to tell if it's your save or your game.
