What would you like to see in a future EB2 screenshot?

I bet we are pretty close to beta testing and the final release date, so I don't think we'll get many more screenshots from BW.

So, my question is:
What would you like to see in a future screenshot?

I've made a list of those updates who still weren't shown in any screenie or the newly released teaser.

So choose what you would like to see in action!

I voted spider. Fireballing the webbing would prove interesting...

And a nice hot spider leg would be like eating King Crab legs...

I'm with Dragonlady, though I have a feeling we did see the Brimstone Spider's habitat in the teaser. It just would have been fun to see one of them spitting flaming web.

I picked a special ability just because it will take a few games to see most of them.

No more screenshots before release!

Book II is full of neat stuff to see, and we've never been the kind of developer to release 100 screenshots and 20 minutes of gameplay footage before the game is out. It destroys the sense of discovery for you!

As for the release date: we are going to start taking beta tester applications in just a little over a week from now. Beta testing is expected to last 4-6 weeks. As soon as we have an idea of how quickly the beta testers can get through the game and look at everything, we'll toss out a solid release date. Late April is very possible.

Which would likely put the Mac release date into late May or June.

Which would be just perfect for me...

We try our best.

Between personal issues (my wife having a baby during Book II development) and struggling with "feature creep" (trying to give our fans everything you ask for) we fell behind.

We just want Book II to be the best it can be. Hopefully everyone will see this when they load it up for the first time.

I think you did a wonderful job on Book 1 and know you are developing something even more special in Book 2. Frankly, I can't believe one man has created something so intricate and well-balanced. Take as long as you need to get it right!
