port kuudad sewer [spoiler]
what do you put in the chests in the sewers. i am not very good at puzzles, it's like tangletree ossuary puzzle
there are four chest with plaques above them which reads,
1. I am tool of absolute power, In the hand of knowledgeable I help forge laws , proclaim wars, craft worlds and keep history...
( this probably takes a quill&inkwell)
2. A candescent drop upon ivory tower
( cotton wink maybe, or candle if there are some in the game)
3. I swim in the seas and crawl thorough the rocks,I am the preserver of flesh and the spice of life
(water? waterskin?)
4. where hammer and strength fails, I succeed with finesse I can grant thee kingly access if only you would get to know me
(No idea really)

Re: port kuudad sewer [spoiler]
2: yes there are some
3: no, think more about the "spice"
4: after all this is the thiefs guild. think in the direction of what a hammer is good for in the game

sorry for misleading you - your second post clashed with mine. salt is correct (although there are bags of exotic spices in the game).

All the items are found in Port Kuudad and the Sewers so you don't have to go far to get them. Also you can't sell them in Port Kuudad.
Re: port kuudad sewer [spoiler]
Hmm - where would that be? I'm having trouble locating a candle.golgepapaz wrote:lucky me found a small candle by the drunk captain...

He is sitting in a street in Port Kuudad south-east of the quick travel location. The candle is in the barrel.binger wrote:Hmm - where would that be? I'm having trouble locating a candle.golgepapaz wrote:lucky me found a small candle by the drunk captain...

Put lockpick, salt, candle, quill and ink, in that order.

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!! WARNING!!

Well, I managed to solve that chest puzzle and fought my way to the very end of the Thieves' Arcadia. But that's where a big dilemma showed itself to me. You see, I chose to roll a rogue at the beginning of the game, and I haven't been able to find any trainers for him (poor bastard).
Also, I accepted the "Find the assassin" quest at the beginning of the game, thinking I'd outdo that damn assassin by building myself an even better assassin.
Guess my dilemma.
I met Zeblin. Not only is he the game's only rogue skill trainer (according to himself at least, and I believe him), he is also the assassin I am determined to kill to avenge the death of Darus. So either I fail the quest and get a trainer.. or.. I kill Zeblin, complete the quest, but have to train every rogue skill myself. Argh!
What did you guys do?

You can't buy all your training, and then kill him?
