And use your mouse to look carefully around that wall with the big metal loop. It's surprising what people leave behind walls.

Yea, sometimes our assumptions are wrong. And it is a bit hard to get to that region because need to have high resistance to elements cuz need to walk over lava all the time and fight with spiders at the same time.
Is it worth going there? I'm just wondering because I don't know how I'm going to get high resistance to elements with no spells and potions of greater protection are just so expensive and don't last long enough. I'll get there somehow!

There is one fixed item there and the rest is random loot, high level random loot.

This is rather approximate because I tried to preserve the squareness of the maps "tiles", but it appears that despite the game giving distances in terms of absolute feet, thus saying "the map tiles really are square", they would need to be scaled differently on horizontal and vertical axes to fit over the world map in a more pleasing way.

Yep. Just from the map above, the areas we've already been in the vicinity of, but haven't visited:
  • The area due N of Baron's Thicket
  • Ash Island (and the smaller island(s) NW (& N) of Ash Island)
  • The Gambit Valley (area W of Darkford, where Bastion Spire is)
  • Western Thearmore
  • Southern Crakamir
  • the entire Rift Zone
  • virtually all of Midlande
  • Sharptooth (and the region between the Solengaard Mountains and the Coppervein Mountains)
  • much of the rest of Nor'land
  • most of the Thundersan Grazelands, and all of the Blacksod(?) Grazelands, in Amireth
There's lots and lots still out there to explore, not even counting the remaining 3 unexplored Provinces...

Edit: This post had some maps, but the links have since died, and there are new, updated versions of these available over in this post, anyway. Head over there!

You can pay the guy at Edon to take you over, but only if you have the quest from Korren.
