My first character was a failure. Dasm came along and looted his corpse. Bwahah! >:)

DAMN! that's a lot of bodies you racked up. You must have camped like crazy.

I sure did. Spent nearly a calendar year of ingame time. I was tempted to mess around some more to see if that dude in Everdale was actually going to open up his spa and let me relax in it. :)

That, and I didn't allocate my skills as wisely as I should have. I really wanted 'Jack of All Trades,' so I hit the grind a bit. The Forsaken Coast and Old Harpoon Bay are good areas, if they don't kill you. (and they almost did!)

I rushed through Talushorn when I discovered that nothing can hit me when I'm in Parry mode

My attempt at getting the maximum amount of challenges.

The first one is with the Wealthy Lord challenge, the second is without it. Pretty funny how getting the missing ~30 000 gp almost tripled my total game-world time.

It's on the loot score... that and depending on the modifiers.

My first run through (as a ranger). I think I missed a quest somewhere. :-/

P.S.: We really need a barter system for merchants. Use gold to make up the difference and it would solve the gold issues.

I ended the game with about 93000 gold. And that was actual gold. So much money, so little to buy. 8)

And, yes, I know I take a very long time to play through the game. I like it that way.

Is that a real score screen?

Post by Trickster »

Sade, how on Orakus did you get 12 challenges? I don't see how you can earn Pacifist and True Mage and still get past the places in Talushorn that require damage dealt to objects (the wooden barrier and the computer door).

Throwing Demon Oil next to an object and thus damaging it indirectly doesn't count as dealing damage.

Without that exploit, getting Pacifist and True Mage at the same time would probably be impossible.

My first run, first character after exactly 2 weeks of play. I had no intention to break any score records, hence my quite low score.
