Tip of the Week

Post by BasiliskWrangler »

Tip of the Week: You can hold down the LEFT SHIFT key when you click "Launch Game" from the launch window, and it will skip loading the intro animation and take you straight to the main menu.
See my ramblings and keep up with the latest news on Twitter & Facebook.

I was gonna go with: "Don't eat yellow snow," but that's an excellent tip as well.

Indeed. Nevertheless, the feature is pretty neat since you sometimes really want to dive into the game immediately without losing any previous time ;)

Oh! That will be easier than clicking on the black screen when I hear the faintest of musical notes start in the background.

Tip: There's few problems that can't be solved with copious amounts of blackpowder.

On a related note, holding shift while left-clicking allows you to change your facing without moving. (Somebody posted that on this forum somewhere, but I don't remember who.)

Here's another tip: Shield skill 10 and up provides protection from projectiles in an increasing manner.

Tip: Most character build problems can be fixed with enough armor and the strength to wear it.

Tip: If you don't have a powder keg, but you have something right beside the cracked wall, use a Fireball, it'll probably do the job too. (not tested yet, just happened once :) )

Tip#2: When a ghost is very resistant to magic, also use Fireball, as it does physical damage :)

Ranger(bow) is the only job/build who can take most challenges at a single game.

So, who wants to skip the into and music? I watch it every time. Love it.
