The widget

Post by Vroqren »

I know that in book one, it is used solely to prevent the game from crashing when an item is not generated, and it's supposed to be. But, stumbling through the forums I found this.

I was wondering if there is a way to get a widget in book II, and if it does do something other than prevent crashes.

Here's where I found that quote if you were wondering -

The Book II 'widget' only exists in v1.04 of Book II, IIRC. (It was supposed to be "fixed" in v1.05, though I still haven't gotten far enough into a v1.05 game to know for sure...)

Anyway, the Book II widget had... unforeseen issues. ;)
