One problem I see with hunger and thirst

I like hunger and thirst being part of the game. But it also forces one into unrealistic startegies. The fact that hunger and thirst decays while you are sleeping means to make the most efficient use of your time, you never sleep just to pass time ..for example because it is easier to travel in daylight. only to receive healing and mana generation at the cost of hunger and thirst. Because in a way it is wasted time. I think hunger and thirst should decay much slower when you are sleeping. Maybe it already does I have not noticed yet....because I just started Book II. Maybe in Book III they will also have fatigue.
