I always figured the cabin was abandoned since it was so far outside of town. Or maybe you killed the previous owner and no one objected to the ownership change.

Well it says in the Book II intro that you purchased it, but I'm curious who you purchased it from. It's doubtful you traveled all the way to Port Kuudad to buy a cabin nowhere near the city, and no one in Eastwillow seems to have anything to do with real estate and such.

You probably purchased it directly from the previous owner. I don't think there are a lot of title companies and Re/Max offices in Eschalon.
