are registrations code platform specific?

Post by ferretgrandpa »

i am trying to transition from windows to puppy linux slacko 6.3.2. The demos load and run pretty well, but my registration codes from the windows versions are being rejected.
So, are registration code platform specific? Does this mean you want be to buy them again? I could almost understand that in the case of Book 1, as the registration code was built in, but what about Book II and III?

Never Mind - I tried it again, and it worked.
The code in my email was all uppercase, so I entered as it was listed, uppercase, and it failed, repeatedly.
Just tried one more time, as all lowercase, it was accepted.
Something to remember . . .
