Happy Thanksgiving!

Post by BasiliskWrangler »

To all our American readers and fans, have a stupendous Thanksgiving! Eat lots of turkey and pumpkin pie, and then pass-out on the couch watching movies (or football, if that is your thing!)
See my ramblings and keep up with the latest news on Twitter & Facebook.

Somebody give me something to be thankful for? I don't want to be a pessimist?

I mean, sure I like Eschalon, I am posting on the forums, after all, but does that bear grand significance?

I just got back from my parents' place, down in Connecticut... I suppose it's nice to see my nieces every once in a while and how much they've grown, height-wise and socially, you know. Gradually their speech becomes clearer and their perception sharper and so on and so forth.

I've always liked the oldest one best, since being the oldest means being the sharpest, at least so far, and also she's really into science, and, well, faeries... I think I'm responsible for the faeries... but I think I can tell now that my youngest niece is probably gonna turn out to be a really cool girl; of the three she's always been the quiet, gentle one, very sweet.
Certainty: a character-driven, literary, turn-based mini-CRPG in which Vasek, legendary "Wandering Philosopher", seeks certainties in a cryptically insular, organic, critically layered city.

I'm thankful for my wonderful wife, for good parents, for my job (both my full-time job that pays the bills and the opportunity to write computer games on the side, which I enjoy doing), for my health (especially after having been sick with pneumonia for most of September), for my customers, for my mother-in-law's successful surgery last week, for my two adorable yorkies... sure times are tough, but I can think of lots of things to be thankful for. The way I see it - why should I dwell on bad things that I have no control over anyway?

Of course, I'm also thankful for discovering Eschalon: Book 1, and the fact that Book 2 is coming soon!

Yes, that I am.
