I like the new look to the boards, it is very nice, and is easy on the eyes.

Thanks for updating it and giving the users a nice place to be and talk.

We appreciate your thoughts about the board's new skin, but I think you should have posted this on General Chat, as it has nothing to do with Book II.

You are correct, and I can't argue with that. I never thought of that and always head directly to Book II forums. That is why it ended up here.

If someone would like, they can move it.

I like this new look, for the most part. I was about to give it solid praise until I started typing this response.

My one criticism is that when I'm typing in a message, the text doesn't contrast well with the background of the field I'm typing into. It's a bit hard to read. With my eyesight, I can barely see what I'm typing. A darker text color and/or lighter background color in the field (instead of the gray gradient) would be much more helpful.

Other than that, I really like the new look.

I see what you mean. I'll make some adjustments.

Okay....

The text entry background is a bit brighter and more "papyrus" colored. As before, you may need to refresh your browser a couple times to see it.

Unfortunately it's still slow as hell on my Droid... *sigh* not that I should be using my phone when my pc is an arm's length away... 0_o

Testing from my droid...

Doesn't seem too slow, but it's not ideal because of the small screen.

Just the Droid's default web browser. Haven't really looked to see what's out there for alternatives.

I suppose I should grab the Dolphin browser... but I'm lazy.

Actually, CCleaner is also a good choice. At first I couldn't see the new background, but then I ran CCleaner and everything's okay now.

The old version fit nice within the small, flat screen monitor I am using. The new version spills over so that I have to scroll back and forth to read posts. No...no complaints here. I'm just saying...

Oh, I'm planning on picking up a Note Book either in April or May. I wonder if I'll have the same problem with that?

That's interesting because this layout takes up LESS space in my browser window. Of course, I'm on a 24" iMac, so I have more space to work with, but this layout is actually centered in my browser window with big spaces on either side.
