Hello there !

In first place, excuse my poor english writing. I'm french and even if i read english very well, it's hard to me making sentences without mistakes.

I purchased Eschalon Book I since three days and after rerolling so much times (it's my major default on RPGs ...), i would like to say : THANKS !

It's not so often that a game provides me this impression of freedom in character development. Too many games are using restrictive archetypes.
But this one succeed in leading into a "playing way" with the class of character and in leaving enough freedom in the skills selection to make a "pimped" hero.

The turn-based system is a real must on RPGs and allows to establish challenging situations like "how to deal with two rabid goblins with only a dagger and two rocks?"

This game reminds me roguelikes, with a "casual-player" aspect.

Congratulations, and good luck for the sequel :)
