Nice screeg! Are those pre-rendered scenes or realtime?

What's the project "Keep on the Borderlands"?

They're pre-rendered to use as backgrounds in a total conversion of Temple of Elemental Evil. This project is actually pretty far along now, with a playable demo comprising more than half of the planned total already in circulation among modders.

I provided all the new backgrounds, several dozen at last count, with day/night versions for many of them as well.

I emailed you guys a few months back, when I first heard about Echelon, to wheedle you about possibly working on Book 2, so...wheedle wheedle WHEEEEEDLE!

My interest is more than piqued! I'd love a good reason to install that game again...
There are worlds out there where the sky is burning. And the sea's asleep and the rivers dream … People made of smoke and cities made of song … Somewhere there's danger, somewhere there's injustice, somewhere else the tea's getting cold!

Those look very nice, but they are HUGE! Are they for an isometric game like Eschalon? If so, the tileset has to be monstrous!! :D

I know they are huge but.. a guy asked them to be so. So they are like he wanted. It took some time to remake them but I get credits and that makes me happy.
Also with the higher and higher resolution and monitor I don't think that they are much of a problem...
In a few years they will be like normal ones :D

I guess it depends on the scale of the game, also. Good job, Sanctus. Keep sharpening your skills...you never know what kind of offer may come your way!
