Don't worry about it, I'll set it all up. Anyway, on my way to your death point, I found two very interesting things.

First, a village with carrots (Unfortunately no potatoes, but carrots are still good.)
(116, -660)
Second, a desert temple with iron, gold, and bones. I raided the chests, but there's still 9 TNT to be had.

-159x by -847z - found a fort made of mostly moss stone, with some arrow traps and a chest. I've disabled the traps - cool though :)

Yeah, Jungle Temples. They're actually really rare, and I personally have never seen one in my worlds.

stop by and check it out - then we can destroy it and take the moss stone - you can use it around the forge if we get enough ;)

That could be a cool pattern: Cobble with mossy mixed in. It's simple, and easy to get the supplies for.

Ahh, finally made it home last night. If I have time tonight I'll head back and demolish that jungle temple for the stone, and to retrieve the items I left in the chest.

The Pig Vallery Eastern Ridges (east from our base between the plains and the ocean) looks incredible! Let's declare it a MINESCO world heritage site.

Sounds good to me Lord_P.

I need to spend some time reviewing rail systems. I need to figure out the most efficient way to power it.

There are a couple. The cheapest is to just put levers next to each powered rail, with redstone torches shortly behind. The nicest looking, however, is to put a detector rail in front of and behind each powered rail, so that they're not powered until you go over them.

D'oh! I just patched, so I'm out of synch with the server - let me know when you've updated :)

Yeah... I'm not sure when it will update, I can't find a way to force an update. I'll talk to my brother (The hoster), see if I can't figure out when it will update.

1.5 has so many things to look forward to though, it'll be worth the wait.

Should I patch and wait for server update or patch after server update?

Couple of small Projects I Built on a MP server I play on.

Image
ImageImage

It's a Survival pvp server so everything is crafted and mined by hand.
any of those images will let you view the whole library of them.

Floor space on pyramid 123x123 at 15129 blocks
The huge statue is holding up an arena with others fighting it out to the death.

A new map is generated every 3 months to prevent boredom settling in.

my next small project is creating an orbital colony space station and I had to get permission to build it as it will be 500x500 - the Torus ( in the style of Halo) will be 100x100 running around the outer edge of that 500x500 and a river running through the center of that Torus with full eco system and houses - anyway thats just the start of it.
