Hi guys,
im just playing Book 2 and i dont know how to proceed with the main quest line. I finished the quest Viewing Glass (Part 2) and i was able to find my way into Port Kuudad, but according to the walkthrough, the guy in the library (Saint Gilhelm) should tell me where to go next. But everytime I try to talk with him, he just tells me to bugger off. That a**hole just dont want to talk with me eventhough i have the viewing glass in my inventory.

If i look into my questlog, i can see Part 2 as completed, but i dont see Part 3 in my active quests. I suspect this is a bug? Can i somehow fix it?

Do you have the viewing glass in your inventory when you talk to Gilhelm?

You can also skip this part of the quest (but probably miss some XP) and go straight to where he tells you to go:
[+] SPOILER
the Forsaken Coast, where using the viewing glass will lead you to your destination.

Yes, i said I have !

I dont want to skip anything if possible. I was hoping I can edit the quest status in Xolotl's character editor, but i guess thats not possible.

Okay, I dug out the game data files. To get the option to speak to Gilhelm, you need quest number 7 to be in state 1. That gets set after you talk to Minus. You say, "Thank you. I will go see Saint Gilhelm," and he says "Wonderful! I'll send word ahead so that he can expect you..." After that, quest 7 gets set to state 1.

If you want to post your saved game, I should be able to figure out what the problem is. You can fix the problem with the saved file editor, but if I recall correctly you can't do it directly. You have to give your character an item that, when you use it, set the quest to the appropriate value.
