"Exception_Access_Violation"
"Exception_Access_Violation"
I am getting this message whenever I try to open the game in Full screen mode. The game will open in windowed mode but it almost looks like it is full Screen with the bottom 1/4 cut off.
Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
I just got this error message as I died from poisoning. I heard the scream from dying but I never got to the screen that said I was dead. Instead the game hung with this error message. I was playing in fullscreen mode.
Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
I can't even open the game in Full Screen mode. I have been trying for an hour now. and the more I look at it the more it seems that if I try to open it in Windowed mode it basically come up full screen but missing the bottom

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
Book I runs @ 800x600....
Book II runs @ 1024x768...
You can't play Book II in fullscreen mode because your netbook doesn't support it.
The game looks like the bottom quarter is missing in windoww mode because your netbook can't display all of the game.
Unfortunately this is the case with most early/low priced netbooks. The manufacturers decided that 1024x600 was "enough."

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
I actually just stumbled across a ghetto way to do full screen. I was able to change my resolution to 1200 764 (Don't ask how because I was trying forever but for just some reason it just took now). Now after I did that my monitor isn't large enough to show my entire desktop. Luckily when I open the game in windowed mode it is the exact size of the portion of the desktop that my monitor shows. I have no clue how I did this but it worked.

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
I'm getting this one reproducibly in the map west of the first area when I try to move too far to the north from where I am in my saved game. It happens without fail when I move through a gap in the trees towards a line of rocks with a couple of dragonels nearby.
I'm playing windowed, and I've tried switching renderers to no avail.
Intel Core i7 860.
Win 7 64 bit.
8Gb RAM.
ATI Radeon 5700 HD.
Should I send in my save file?

I'll see if I can attach it as a zip.
[EDIT] Okay, right one uploaded this time.
[EDIT 2] And the picture is where it happens.

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
THIS IS FIXED!
This fix will be in 1.02. I will post "1.02b BETA" tonight and let everyone play with it until Monday when we publicly release it.
Thanks for the saved-game. That always makes bug fixing 1000x easier!

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
Another reproduceable error of this type, with another save on the latest version of the game.
Once loaded, just switch to fire dart level three (just press 1, it's already in that spell slot) and shoot the barrel in front of my character.

Re: "Exception_Access_Violation"
Just got around to trying this. First, there is no barrel in front of your character in this saved game. Second, if I do drop a barrel or powder keg in there, nothing unusual happens when I shoot it.
