mouse problem ingame

i need to push the mouse button several times to get a reaction in game, if i want to open inventory with mouse or even start the game i need to push the button 2 or 3 times, is there a fix to it

That's definitely a new one to me. There are a number of Linux users on the forums, and none has ever reported that problem. I presume you don't see mouse problems with other applications?

Its the only place i have problems yes. i have tried it on ubuntu and linux mint, its the same everytime

Hm. Well, I'm also using Ubuntu 10.10 and don't have the problem. On the other hand, the only two reports we've seen have been with Ubuntu or Ubuntu derivatives (Mint). Would one of you be willing to download, say, a Fedora live CD and try to reproduce the bug with that but on the same hardware?
