Inventory request

I have one request for Book III because of a problem I've had with a Book II challenge. And, it may not even apply to the quests in Book III, so it might not be relevant.
So, here goes. If you are playing as a True Mage in Book II it is virtually impossible to solve the Bronze Puzzle because the Light Armor gloves and boots you need are never in any store's inventory. I've done two play-throughs where I diligently checked every supplier every week without them showing up.
If there is any similar sort of quest of Book III could you make sure that the items are found in chests somewhere? Hammerlorn would have been a good place for those items in Book II.
