Without going into spoilery details about where trainers are ... do they still work like in book 2 that trainers can only train you up to level 10? Or did something change? Also, are books still the same? If you don't have the skill it gives you level 1, if you have the skill it increases skill by 2?
Thanks!

Trainers can only get you to level 8 in any given skill now.

Books and trainers work the same way as in Book II. Remember to train to level 8 before you read the book for maximum effectiveness.

The major difference from E2 is that almost all trainers in E3 declare themselves only after you have fulfilled a quest for them. So side quests don't just add points, they also make you eligible for training.
