Yup, confused me at first as I thought I needed to find them somewhere but turns out they are a general item sold in Inn's, once I had them I've both won and lost against our pal Lucky.

It wasn't with a melee character, so I backed out of his house to keep some distance between us. Then Valx from the local magic shop noticed me fighting a townsperson...

I thought Valx would help me, but no - he just turned away indifferently.

I tend to wait until I have around 10,000 coins for him to double for me, and then I just save/reload. Turns out, that even with a predetermined seed, these dice are random :D
