Done with I and II, now III

Post by lordhoff »

Just got III and playing my first character - as usual in the series, a ranger. OK, so what idiot decided the extreme concentration put stress on a bow? The series has way too much rest time as is and now I have to rest solely to repair my bow. Grrrr! Anyway, overall, still better (so far :) ). It does seem that Basilisk goes from one extreme to another. Foraging in II caused way too much in reagents but the fix for III caused potion making to be useless. In I, many felt "hidden in shadows" was over powered but it made for a nice alternative way for attacking the game that was perfect for a rogue. In II, "hidden in shadows" is useless. I ended the game mid-rogue and moved on to III in disgust. Always something to be negative about but overall, I had fun and that's the point.

The better quality bows last longer when you use the feat and with higher damage you can usually kill your target with one shot. Until then, I rotated bows to keep them from breaking.
