How many Real time Minutes/hours is day and Night Cycle in game?

I'm still in the demo part and having fun, but the night Cycle is very dark and seems a lot longer then day cycle

There are 1440 turns per day in Eschalon. They are evenly divided between day and night. For Book II I will make day a little longer and night a little shorter.

my rogue hates you for that :)

it's also illogical if book II is more wintery (there was a comment to the effect that "winter is coming"), unless it's in the southern hemisphere of a planet with a similar tilt to Earth's.

No worries, it won't be much shorter- just shortened a little bit since so many people have told us they feel nights are too long.

Oh ok, so it is not based on time but on turns, ok. I was waiting for night to change into day to see again hehe

thanks for the fast reply

So, since there are also 1440 minutes in a 24 hour day, do we assume each turn is equivalent to a minute, BW?

Correct. Just use the Chronometer and it will tell you the exact time (while also acting as a sustitute for the space bar) :)

Thats silly. It just feels long because they dont like dark.I like it because I can win battles easier then(predator sight).I rarelly fight during the day now.

Well it would be nice to have some way to make a temporary night during the day, just for sneaky purposes.
What is an Ameefmu?
