Will my demo saves carry over when I purchase my copy of Eschalon for Mac?

BTW... not sure if this has been said b4, but 1 hour is really lame for a trial version. 2 hour Demo would really do the trick in making someone want to buy the game. At 1 hour, I really wasn't convinced character development was going to be ok.
