Hidden items at the start

I just rolled up a new character with 3 in Spot Hidden, but I don't seem to find anything hidden anywhere. Any clues where I should be looking?

Spot hidden and perception (ability score) help with finding hidden traps on the floor and in locked boxes, chests, etc.

It takes a high amount to be easily spot them, so pausing when moving over suspected floors may help your chances.

A good place to look is the ruined inn to the north and its lower level accessed by stairs to the northwest of the inn.

Also, check the building by the graveyard. There's nice things there you can sell to get much needed cash for a beginner character.
