Thanks for this. I'm not too far into the game yet, and any hints are helpful.

The Manual is very well done and a great addition to the game and boards.

I use to enjoy the days of taking game manuals with me to various place (e.g. the beach, doctor's appointments, etc.) and simply read them because they were so well written and gave insight into the game.

It would be great to see that day again, but a PDF is close as it will come, so I will enjoy reading it at my computer! I am just pleased Basilisk has taken the time to make an excellent manual.

Hopefully BW will get this fixed, but if you bought Book I from someplace like the Mac App Store where for some reason they don't include the manual with the program, you can get it by downloading the demo from here on Basilisk Games and copying the Player's Manual out of the demo folder.

I bought Eschalon from Steam so I already have it in my game folder. Just thought I'd point out the link was broke

Actually, they do include the manual. It's just inside the game's package. Navigate to the game's package in your applications folder, right click on it and select "Show Package Contents". You'll find the manual in the Files folder.
