How can learning alchemy help my armor? How are they connected? Thanks

Alchemy allows you to add bonus protection to the armor.

If I were you though, I would wait until you had a higher alchemy lever, before enchanting your armor, because at 15 (I think) you can get +3 instead of just +1, or +2. Weapons can also be alchemised. They can be given better attack rating, and better damage.

You can also enchant your armor so it provides more protection.....
