Hey everyone, I need some help testing a brand new Macintosh compiled version of Book I. If you are a current owner of Book I, and if you have seen (or regualrly experience) graphical glitches on your Macintosh, please send me a private message through these forums (via the PM button below).

- This glitch most likely only affects people with newer Macs. If you have an older Mac and do not see glitches, this update won't change the game for you.

- If a lot of people respond, I will not likely send everyone a link right now, only the people with the worst problems. Once I get the new version approved, I'll update the download through Plimus and our other vendors, and you can redownload it then.

To those of you who have already sent me a message- I just discovered that we need to apply some updates to the software on our Macs before proceeding with the new compile, so it will be a few hours before l can respond to you with a link.

Hopefully I'll get back to you later tonight, possibly tomorrow. Thanks!

Flawless reports from everyone (except for one random crash, but it couldn't be replicated).

I haven't seen any bugs except one that may have been my computer's fault since it went away before I could duplicate it.

I'm sorry I'm too busy to test this, right now.

But if the update fixes this graphics issue, it'll be well worth the wait!

Yes, this graphic glitch is officially gone in the new compile.

When will the new compile be available on the Mac app store?

FYI - I've been replaying Book 1 with a cleric (never played with that build before), and I'm about halfway through the game. Everything is working perfectly for me. Thanks, BW!

BW - did you see the post here about a Windows user seeing something very similar to the Mac graphics bug?

viewtopic.php?f=8&t=5540

Is the fix you made for this in the latest Mac version Mac-specific, or might it help him as well?
