the "boss fight" was surprisingly easy, so i decided to try the destroyer route. well - piece of cake. as you can see i didn't use any potions or spells to buff myself, not even healing potions.

basically i just skilled heavy armor and swords, plus some points in cartography and of course alchemy. i love being an unstoppable killing machine

Congrats! Try Book II if you haven't already. The difficulty's been adjusted, especially in the expansion...

Can anyone tell me what level I should be finishing these games at? Im currently in book 1 and am lvl 15. Is that a normal level to finish the game at?

I always make level 17. I explore everywhere, don't grind camp encounters or get the extra level from using the Easter Eggs.

17 is where I normally am by the entrance to the goblin citadel, so I usually get to about 18 throughout the game. It looks like the last three people to get Destroyers were all level 17 as well. I'd say that's a pretty good sign it's a fair level to end up at.

I know you are mostly all moved on from Book I, but I wanted to finish Book I before starting Book II.

Nice ending with the Destroyer bit. I only found out abut it because I always save before talking to anyone new, and I decided to 'restore' and kill the Chancellor after the awful reward of the farm glad I did. Looks like my stats are fairly consistent with others for a first time play. I missed a few bits, like the third easter egg, and that camping lady's missing husband, but hey, ho. Just bought Book II from the Mac App Store, so more fun to come.

I think I need to leave it for a week though. I see dead people when I go to sleep

Level 17 Druidic Rouge.
Used StoneSkin, Bless, Invisibility and Enchanted Weapon to kill off the guards
