I mean...

I tried and failed

I used a barbarian fighter who likes swords, bows, and divination. For the final combat I used the Flask of Incinerator Fuel, a couple of Haste potions and Ogre Strength potions, and cast Bless and Enchant Weapon. The final combat was fairly easy and lots of fun. I'm also including an extra picture of my character when he has the above spells and potions applied.

Well - I did it, second playthrough (first playthrough I ended the "right" way) -- I have no idea how to post a screenshot however. My husband will know so I will try again when he comes back into town tomorrow. My character was a nefarious rogue, level 18 by the end (I really tried to get to level 21, but it appears that you would have to do a whole crapload of resting and unexpected killing. I did EVERY SINGLE QUEST, killed a lot of the unnecessary NPCs, guards, everything. No luck getting that high.) My first playthrough I was an agnostic ranger and ended up at level 17. I used an imbued adamantine dagger, mostly as well as some demon oil, the incinerator fuel, and a few flight arrows with an imbued longbow (from that guys tomb in the Ossuary). Also, all imbued light armor, two assassins rings, the dire rabbits foot, and a few potions (which I was out of by the end -- (yeah, I know, poor planning) and the chameleon spell. I came in unprepared basically with about 20K gold -- I plopped down the Crux (for the XP) on the pedestal and planned to go back out and buy a whole bunch of good stuff to use for the final battle-- but I ended up not being able to go back out, and idiot me already saved (and I always only save one game...) So, I wound up with a bunch of money not spent. Oh well....

About the last 1/3-1/4 of the game I felt that way. it was just way way too easy. Then, again,
(#1) apparently the designers, planned for people to reroll every die roll so you always get bags of gold filled with goodies
(#2) knowing that the last 1/4 of of the game would mean, you basically have to fight the same difficulty as the rest of the game presuming you wouldnt have that much loot.

sigh, i hate myself for being evil with reroll.

Rastus the Destroyer! I just finished my first game, and tested all three endings. I saved this ending for last.

Maybe a belated post, but Rocketman: Why only 1 point in Divination if you're a magick user? Since the Divination scrolls offer so much more than just Heal (and a higher level Divination, at that, increases the effectiveness of heal per mana used).... Hmm....

I achieved Destroyer also, no screen shot also!
I looked in my bag o' tricks and thought hmmmm, let's give that whole "Mass Boil" thing a try.
It works very well! I had fairly low Divination, so I was using it at Level 1, and casting invisibility at the same time.

Now to do it again!

I've got no idea how to actually e-mail them, but I thought this would work.

Achieved the destroyer ending with a ridiculously optimized high-endurance level 21 druidic healer.
Just buffed up and waded in - armor and to hit were pretty much maxed out, and I was averaging around 50 damage per hit with my axe, so it was fairly easy.

Found a good use for invisibility potions in the final battle - allowed me to engage only one enemy at a time instead of being attacked by a whole mob at once.

Looking forward to book II!

Got it. Not that hard, just had to get a strong fighter with high armor.
