Hi.. in Darkford (or Darkfort)... do I just give the "evidence letter" to the drunk guy.... and that's it.
The chest has a big key, what's it for? The big gate in that area doesn't seem to respond to anything.
Have I missed something....
Darkford...chest...key
Re: Darkford...chest...key
----SPOILER----
That key is important for getting into Crakamir later: it'll make everything so much easier. If you didn't pick it up (and can't get back into the room), don't fear, as there are two other ways into Crakamir.

Hi.. thanks.. I grabbed the key. But, is there no going through the big gate, above and behind the drunk guy??
Sure looks inviting...

They didn't trust the drunk Captain Morgan with the key to that gate. No way through.

Yeah, the key goes to a gate much later to the game. You can't get past the gate you're referring to.

You can always remove offending barriers with xolotl's map editor, but unfinished areas of the game aren't usually that interesting. With the exception of the plains of BEER in Book II.TaarNah wrote:Bummer. I just love going places I'm not supposed to go...
