Yes it's a terrific game (speaking of the original Ultima VI, haven't played the remake yet, will this weekend probably) that unfortunately gets lost in the shuffle sometimes because Ultima VII was so insanely awesome and it has to live in it's shadow.

Yes it has a really great story.

It's been a long time but I remember Ultima VI as being tons of fun to play.
