I've been playing for a couple hours. Yes, if you have fond memories of Dungeon Master, you'll love LoG2. It is a near 100% clone of Dungeon Master (in terms of the play mechanics) and the artwork is very, very good. Not much in the way of storyline.

Definitely one to add to your collection.

Have it, Play it.

I like the look better than the first.

I stopped playing the first because of the level with the pit traps. I ragequit and never picked it up again.

This one i ragequit because of.....well, again a puzzle trap area. BUT, i will play it again because its a bit more "open" in gameplay, and i like the look and feel of this one over the first.

I can say i reccommend the game, especially if you liked the first.

Its still there but really(so far anyway) once you find it, its pretty obvious this time. (big circle in the wall)

but im really only around the beginning so i cant say how much better/worse/more annoying it gets

There's a weapon you can find that will harm those elementals. There's only one though if I remember correctly.

I finished this back when it came out. I loved every second of it.

[+] SPOILER
This music is godly and the fight that goes with it was great fun.

The library puzzle with the switches... I'm all for difficult puzzles but only when they are optional. It isn't fun to come across a puzzle like this right next to the end with no other area to explore.

I was surprised to see that the developers hadn't given a voice to the Island Master given the good quality of the cinematics. I like the sense of frustration he conveys if you escape the island.

Crossbow is missing an epic item.
How did you like the final fight? Did you go back and find
[+] SPOILER
the fifth shrine? There's an extra boss who is just absolutely difficult.
