First of all, I'm on a Windows Server 2008 machine. It's being used as a workstation (much less bloated than Vista and I got it through school for dirt cheap).

Whenever I try to start the demo, I get to pick the settings and when I click Start, I get an instant crash. Here's the report:

Every other game I've tried (read: a LOT of games, new and old) has run perfectly fine on Server 2008, but I won't completely rule it out as a problem.

Anyways, any tips would be appreciated. I'd really like to try this game, and I don't want to run it in a virtual box or anything.
