Most Vista users won't have any problems, but if you are using Vista and are experiencing sound problems (stuttering or cracking, or no sound at all), you may want to install the latest OpenAL drivers.
You can get them here: http://www.openal.org/downloads.html
Click on the link for the Windows OpenAL 1.1 Installer. It will take you to a page where you can grab the file oalinst.exe. Even if you don't have a Creative Labs sound card, these drivers can help.
