Stutter

Just bought Eschalon 1. Im getting a slight stutter every couple of seconds, like the computer is thinking about what to do next. Ive tried the game in DX and OpenGL modes. The computer definatally doesnt have any hardware issues and exceeds max requirments. Also have the most up to date drivers.
Any ideas? I dont remember this happening in the demo.

Just downloaded and installed the demo. The stutter does not happen with it.

My problem was sorted by Thomas. Very quickly and im very happy to be playing the game now.

So how was it solved? I'm having the exact same problem. The demo was fine, the actual game stutters every second or two.

i have the same issue could i get how it was solved please?
